Baby shower

How fun to be throwing showers in the age of Pinterest! And equally fun for me...attending one I didn't plan! My co-worker Megan is welcoming her sweet baby boy Everett in October, so we gathered to celebrate him! The Dr. Seuss theme had endless possibilities, and it turned out really great!

My favorite part of any event is of course, the food! It was a potluck shower, and everyone brought some amazing dishes. The group favorite was definitely the homemade egg rolls, made by Megan's mother-in-law who is Korean. They were to die for! Equally awesome was dessert...this set of cupcakes and a sweet cake to welcome the "new fish".

Lila Bean had a blast playing with some of the bigger girls, and eating a few goldfish. She also loved the pumpkin dip, but did not love me taking it away from her. Congratulations Megan, we can't wait to meet him!
